This website, www.cloverartisans.com (the “Site”), is owned and operated by Clover Studios, LLC, a California Limited Liability Corporation. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Clover” refer to Clover Studios, LLC. By accessing, browsing, visiting or otherwise using this Site, contacting us, and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service.”

Clover values its customers and is committed to protecting any of your personal information that is exchanged with Clover during your use of the Site or engagement in our Service. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets forth Clover’s policy with respect to our collection of information including personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) from Site visitors and users of our Service. Clover may collect Personal Data to carry out the Service. Personal Data, in the context of privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or together with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Personal Data may include the following: your name; mailing address; e-mail address; telephone number; financial information; and any other identifier that permits the physical or online contacting of a single person by itself, or in combination with any of the other listed forms of Personal Data. Clover may also collect from you and use certain non-Personal Data.

COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

When visiting our Site or using the Service, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you as further described below. Clover may combine this Personal Data with information about you that we acquire from our joint marketing partners and/or from unrelated third parties.

The Site may automatically collects certain non-personally-identifying technical information, such as browser type, language preference,  and internet service provider. We use this information to better understand how our visitors use our website and to main services.

This Site and our Service are not directed toward persons under the age of 18, and we request that persons under the age of 18 not provide Personal Data to us. Clover will never knowingly request or collect Personal Data or non-Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18, nor do we specifically market to children under 18. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided Personal Data to Clover through this Site, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

 

TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We collect a variety of information about our customers and visitors to the Site. This personal data falls into these categories:

Identity Data includes title, first name, last name, username or similar identifier and an encrypted version of your login/password. If you interact with us through social media, this may include your social media username.

Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers. This may include information about other people. For example, if you order a product as a gift and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's address.

Financial Data includes payment card details. We process payments for orders using Shopify’s payment processor and PayPal. Credit card details are stored temporarily while your transaction is processed and deleted once the process is complete.  

Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving direct marketing (primarily emails) from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature.

HOW WE COLLECTION YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Direct interactions. You may give us your Identity, Contact and Financial Data when placing an order on the Site by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or through chat or social media.

If Clover is acquired or merged with another company, your Personal Data and non-Personal Data may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to perform the Service.

 

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

No Internet, email, or other electronic transmission is ever fully secure or error free, and no website and no security measures can fully eliminate security risks or the possibility of data breaches. Notwithstanding the possibility of such risks and breaches, Clover has implemented reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access to Personal Data that we’ve collected and to prevent the loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of such information. To that end, Clover follows all Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI­DSS) requirements and implements additional generally accepted industry standards. When you enter Personal Data on our Site, the information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored with an AES­256 encryption. Some browsers and firewalls do not permit communication through unsecure servers. In that case, you will be unable to connect to our server so you will not have to worry about mistakenly placing an order through an unsecured connection.

In the event of any unauthorized access to your Personal Data, we will make a commercially reasonable effort to notify you regarding the nature and extent of the breach, and we will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the breach.

USE OF THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES INCLUDING SHOPIFY

Occasionally, this Site and our emails may contain links to other websites. These third-party websites operate independently of Clover and we cannot and do not control the content on those third-party websites. As such, and in accordance with Clover’s Terms of Use, we have no responsibility or liability for the content or practices of any linked website. Third-party websites have separate and independent privacy and security policies. We strongly encourage you to review such policies at any third-party website that you visit.

Clover’s Site and the Service are hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e­commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your Personal Data and non-Personal Data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application, on a secure server behind a firewall.

Clover uses Shopify’s payment processor, PayPal and Apple Pay to process payments made for products on the Site. When you place an order on the Site, Shopify stores your credit card data. This data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction, after which it is deleted. It is encrypted through the PCI­DSS.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI­DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI­DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Clover and its third-party service providers.

CHOICE/OPT-OUT

You can use the Site without providing any Personal Data. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data, you may not be able to use certain aspects of the Service. Please note that when you make an online purchase from us, we will continue to confirm your order status and shipment by email. We may also need to contact you via telephone, email or postal mail with questions or information regarding your order.

CLOVER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO UPDATE THIS POLICY AT ITS DISCRETION. ANY CHANGES WILL BE POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE. YOU CAN TELL IF THE POLICY HAS CHANGED BY CHECKING THE “LAST UPDATED” DATE, WHICH WILL BE THE DATE ON WHICH THE NEW POLICY BECOMES EFFECTIVE.
